Overall, I have had a fantastic experience! The main draw for me is having small class sizes as that makes it much easier to connect to your peers as well as the professors. Having these connections makes homework, projects, and exam prep so much easier and a much smoother process. I highly value these connections as well as being able to receive help easily and openly. While these have bad some bad apples I most certainly ca not condemn the university as a whole. I have no regrets coming here.

Throughout my time at University of Michigan's Dearborn campus, I have had a lot of great experiences. The campus is easily navigable and well-maintained. There is plenty of parking and it is typically easy to find a parking spot near one's classes.
All things considered, the best part of University of Michigan - Dearborn is the culture and community. I have had many very personable and understanding professors. The professors and students come from diverse backgrounds and are transparent about how their personal experiences have shaped their lives and influenced their teaching. Rarely have I ever had a negative experience with a professor at this university. The same goes for the student body. Most of the student interactions I have ever had on campus have been pleasant and fulfilling. Above all else, the community of University of Michigan - Dearborn is full of friendly and compassionate people who go a long way in making the college experience worthwhile.

The thing I liked the most was the professors (engineering). Almost all the professors who taught me had a long practical experience in the industry. That was very important for me as a graduate, international student whose main focus is to gain industry knowledge and be able to find a job right after graduation. Many found full-time offers even before graduation. If you are more into research, it's better to look for other colleges. It all comes down to your future plans.
