The Red Shoes are an Abnormality that appears in Lobotomy Corporation. They are a pair of bright red slippers which rest on a lavender pillow atop a white pedestal. Their E.G.O. is known as Sanguine Desire.

Behavior
The Red Shoes are a non-escaping Abnormality that is nonetheless quite volatile due to its low Qliphoth Counter. When this Counter reaches zero, the shoes will select a random employee (either a Clerk or an Agent with Temperance II or lower, prioritizing those in the same department in which it is held) to place under their spell. Once the "Allured" employee enters the containment unit, they will put on and subsequently become fully possessed by the Red Shoes - in this state, the newly-possessed employee will gain bleeding eyes with black irises and wielding a red axe in place of their regular E.G.O. Weapon. The Shoes' new host will then roam around the facility and attack any other employees that they see with their axe, dealing Red damage until their target is killed, at which point they will hack apart their victim's corpse in order to heal themselves. Additionally, any employee possessed by the Red Shoes has their HP increased considerably, and can also be healed by the facility's regenerators and by Healing Bullets as a regular employee would - Shield Bullets and Execution Bullets also still affect possessed agents, though they are immune to Slow Bullets.
The only way to suppress an employee who has become possessed by the Red Shoes is to kill them - they cannot have their sanity restored in their possessed state, as White damage will decrease their HP instead of affecting their total SP. In order to prevent possession, it is important to quickly locate any employee who has become Allured by the Shoes as soon as possible - thankfully, not only will Angela notify you whenever the Red Shoes' Qliphoth Counter reaches zero, whichever employee has fallen under their spell can be easily identified by the pink haze which surrounds them as they walk towards this Abnormality's containment unit. Once they have been located, the Allured employee can be snapped out of their trance by rapidly clicking on them multiple times in a row, until the pink fog fades and they return to normal.
In addition, any Agent with Temperance II or lower will immediately become possessed by the Red Shoes upon completing a work process with them, so it is imperative that you only send Agents above this criteria to work with this Abnormality.

Managerial Tips
Managerial Guidelines 1: Employees with Temperance Level 2 or lower should not work with The Red Shoes, as inside The Red Shoes’ Containment Unit, [Agent] went insane. The Red Shoes remember their previous owner.
Managerial Guidelines 2: When the work result was Normal, the Qliphoth Counter lowered with a normal probability.
Managerial Guidelines 3: When the work result was Bad, the Qliphoth Counter lowered with a high probability.
Managerial Guidelines 4: When the Qliphoth Counter became 0, a low-Temperance employee [Agent] entered the Containment Unit in a trance. This phenomenon has been dubbed “Allurement”.
Managerial Guidelines 5: After continuously attempting to select and converse with [Agent], who was allured, they seemingly returned to normal.

2 | The next observable change is that the wearer is unwilling to take off the shoes. They will also act upon any and all desires that they may have subconsciously suppressed. If someone attempts to hamper them from acting on their desires or tries to take off the shoes, the shoes will control its host, which sometimes leads to murder. It is unknown whether the host’s will is involved in the process, but taking into consideration the sharp increase of one’s desires and aggressiveness, the host’s primal urges seem to remain intact. |

It took a total of 23 minutes for them to be suppressed, contained, and returned to their Containment Unit. <Redacted 2> died from excessive blood loss. <Redacted 1> only sustained minor injuries, but elected to resign due to excessive psychological trauma. |

- Anyone whose gaze falls upon The Red Shoes will feel an irresistible urge to put them on.
- The girl begged in tears. “Mister, please cut off my feet...”
- Leaving The Red Shoes on the worn cushion, [Agent] begins their work.
- As if someone recently took them off, The Red Shoes are lying on the ground.
- Moving past The Red Shoes, which are neatly aligned, [Agent] continues with their work.
